This time with the co-workers...
Cool bottle pendant lamps overhead...the wooden planks were a pretty shade of oxidized blue. Very rustic and beachy.

A few slight changes to the menu. No longer are they serving individual .99 fish tacos or $2.50 shrimp tacos. Now they are served as "trios" - $4.50 for 3 fish tacos and $8.00 for the shrimp. Slightly more than before. For that price they should be served with rice and beans too, but they're not.

La Ley got the small mixed seafood cocktail. She liked it but said it was missing cucumber. She felt if she hadn't ordered the mixed seafood, and just stuck with shrimp she would have had more meat instead of just bits and pieces.

Her coctel was served with saltines and tostada rounds (these tasted kind of stale to me), hot sauce, and lime wedges.

The sauce had a kick to it! This was my side to my lunch, an avocado half.

I liked it so much the first time, I had it again - the Seafood Pescadilla, chock full of full size shrimp, small scallops, fake crab (wish they used real), and octopus. Served with rice. It was so buttery, filling and rich. I shared a wedge with my co-workers and saved another wedge for TC.

Mr. TJ (Tight Jeans) got the shrimp burrito which came with rice and Caesar salad. I took this on the sly, but they're already used to me taking photos whenever the group goes out for lunch. No interior shot of the burrito but he said it was pretty hearty.

One of the other co-workers go the fish taco trio which she really enjoyed. At $4.50 for this trio instead of the $3 it would have been a month ago.

It was only a matter of time before they raised up the prices on their once famous .99 fish taco. It hasn't even been a month since this new place opened up too!
See my first visit to the new place here...
Bert and I plan to come here for dinner one of these weekends and try out their fiery aguachile and some other seafood specialties...
