The man who's usually there was not that day but two younger women were. For our shave ice, we all ordered smalls after deliberating over our flavors.
Mine is in the front while the two girls were in the back...
You can choose up to three flavors. I made sure to get a yellow, red, and blue color so it could blend beautifully like this...
Unfortunately, soon after I took the photo above, I knocked it over and ended up scooping the crushed mound back on top of my cup. Sad panda.
My ice mound was destroyed and ended up melting in an ugly mess after I attempted to cool myself down. The girls had fun sticking their tongues in their shave ice and trying to see who could keep it there the longest. Tweens....
I couldn't leave Donut Star without getting a donut or two for Bert.
Okay, I actually got three - one for each of us. The orange iced donut was for TC. The maple bar was for Bert (sorry, no bacon here), and the chocolate old fashioned for me. I love breaking off the edges.
They had a cherry iced donut (like the orange one) but I will have to try that another time!
This whole week was spent trying to keep the girls occupied during their Fall Break...Tea today. The rest of the week was planned out and I had some places in mind for lunch and dessert already...
