we couldn't say no to these magic words, "Chocolate" and "candy"...
Located in the small town of Kagawong is this chocolate shop that make handcrafted chocolates and candies with pride...

I wish I could have bought half the store! There were so many tempting choices like this caramel cashew bark...

These pecan caramel waves are also good but I like the dark chocolate ones much better...

It was also Father's Day so C and I chose several of their handmade chocolates to include in boxes for our husbands!

Wall to wall goodness...

In addition to their handmade chocolates, they also sold Canadian made products and imported candies (Cadbury) from England, along with jams, jellies, and soup dips.

This was the batch I bought which includes the sugary stuff on sticks for TC and the candies that Bert and I selected...

Bert's Father's Day chocolates - I don't remember what they all there but I do know that caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, and peanut butter were involved!

I got two extra pieces for us to share - The one with the pink sugar crystals on top was the Passion Fruit truffle which was perfect and intense! The one with the lavender dot, I don't remember what it was, but I do know that it was gone in less than five seconds!

TC got these novelty "Cow Tales" caramel sticks...

Now this was C's stash - She bought a lot of candy as gifts for our trip. We would be visiting her best friend in Ottawa as well as a (as yet unmet) blogfriend in Quebec City. This was a nice selection. Chocolate dipped pretzel sticks, a bear claw, a peanut butter truffle, toffee and some vibrantly hued blueberry chocolates.

There is also a white chocolate version of the bear claw. They should make one in dark chocolate! I love the cashew "claws".

C's box of chocolates for her husband...Every piece looked so perfect. I wish we could have tried all varieties!

TC's chocolate covered marshmallow on a stick thing. She loves anything on a stick!

Luckily it wasn't hot so the chocolate wouldn't melt as we drove around that day...
Here's our first visit from two years ago.
