Got the Taro Macadamia nut pancake mix from the Hawaiian section of Marukai Living. It was $2 or something like that and it makes 1 dozen pancakes.. It seemed easy enough, eh. Too bad it didn't taste that great. I thought they would be purple or tinted or something since it was "taro" flavored. They looked like normal pancakes but had a wierd bitter taste to them. The nuts weren't in there in "nut form" either but were ground up in the powdered batter mix. Bert and TC liked the pancakes along with my MIL, but I thought they tasted too artificial. Not a complete fail but not good enough for me to warrant eating a whole pancake.

Wow, the flavor sounds really great!! And I'm not a big pancake person.
it sounds great but it didn't taste great. :(
