They come from the land down under.

Definitely not Men at Work. Always thought Colin Hay's glass eye was a bit freaky.
It ain't Rick Springfield either!
Although he was kinda cute as Dr. Noah Drake on "General Hospital".

We're talkin' about INXS here! One of my favorite bands of the 80's. Yeah, my musical tastes are stuck in that decade and so what, I like it! And that's the way it rolls here!
Their third album "Shabooh Shoobah" (1982) also had the song, "The One Thing". I'm of those dinosaurs that still owns actual record albums, so for me, the song "Don't Change" was the last song on side "B" of "Shabooh Shoobah".
This is classic and early INXS playing to a sell out crowd at the US Festival in 1983. Look how young Michael Hutchence was. Even back then, he knew how to work the stage...Man talk about primitive equipment! But hey, it was real music!
"Don't Change" was one of the first songs I heard from INXS. Their sound was so different from the other bands at that time. The radio station 91X was just starting out and INXS was one of the bands they played on heavy rotation. MTV was also pretty new back then and the band benefited from their photogenic lead singer, Michael Hutchence (RIP), and their quirky videos.
"I'm standing here on the ground
The sky above won't fall down
See no evil in all directions
Resolution of happiness
Things have been dark for too long
Don't change for you
Don't change a thing for me..."
My old post from December 2009- "I" is for Icicle Works
Next week - J!

RIP Michael Hutchence. A shame the way he died. :/
I know! So sad...
Loved watching INXS in concert. Saw them in '88 with PiL!
