Revisit - The future home of the Bayshore Bikeway Village

The architectural rendering is coming to fruition. When Bert and I first saw this place last year, the building looked like this (see below). I think it was torn down for the new facilities.

We went here earlier today to see what would be the new Bayshore Bikeway Village which will include the Coronado Brewery and restaurant along with a coffee shop.

Here is one of two buildings which look finished on the outside but are still being worked on within.

Bert wants to do the bikeway from Plaza Bonita mall up to Coronado. That would be a long ride.

You can see Mt. Miguel in the distance...

You can see the Coronado Bay Bridge and the San Diego skyline in the distance...

It was really peaceful out here and very lush with the recent heavy rains.

More dramatic clouds. The bright white mounds in the distance are salt from the South Bay Salt Works.

I'm sure this place will be quite popular once everything is complete.  The quiet neighborhood will be buzzing once the brewery and restaurant are open.

Previous visit:
May 2016 - Bert and I went during the Golden Hour and the gray buildings were not yet constructed. It's nice to see that a lot of progress has been made.

We are looking forward to the facilities opening, especially the upcoming Trident Coffee!
