Happy St. Patrick's Day + Seafood Friday 2017 - Week 3: Chipotle orange salad with shrimp from Rubio's

He's at it again...

Good ole Dano, the ubiquitous sign painter extraordinaire...

whose St. Patrick's Day designs were once again gracing the windows of Beef 'n Bun in El Cajon. The painter in the photo was touching up the trim, not painting the St. Patrick's sentiments (circa early March).

Turkey burger with fried zucchini and drink! Plus a mint chip shake!

I didn't get those but that shake sure looked good. I met up with Cathy of mmm-yoso a few weeks ago on a day off.

Here's the view from inside while I was ordering my burger, heh.

A new place to sit! I was facing this way while Cathy faced the other, towards a mirror which disconcerted her.

Happy shamrocks.

Here's more leprechaun fun, this time on a pep assembly poster at my work. The ASB students are so artistic and creative.

I wore a green top and leprechaun earrings (will post the photos later) and these fun shamrock and beer mug  socks ($1 from Target!).

Since today is also a Seafood Friday, I had lunch at the local Rubio's, now rebranded as 'Rubio's Coastal Grill'.

My chipotle orange shrimp salad. This was $8.50. The dressing is on the side, ranch and chipotle which is mixed.  The salad has so many ingredients, all of which are delicious (roasted peppers, mandarin segments, black beans, roasted corn and tortilla strips plus shrimp all atop a generous bed of spring greens. Very healthy. With the dressing, it was less than 500 calories. I counted eight shrimp. Mr. TJ was upset because his salad (the same) only had four (which sucked), so he complained about it. The manager brought him a bowl of extra shrimp.

Mmm, juicy skrimps...

I really like this salad from Rubio's. I

I didn't do one in 2016, so here's the one from 2015:

Here's a funny video featuring Warwick Davis as the evil Leprechaun from that great Oscar worthy flick, "Leprechaun in the 'Hood":

I wonder if he was really rapping, ha ha.
