which is the D Street entrance to the poetically named beach below...
Moonlight Beach. The beach wasn't mega crowded that day even though it was spring break and the weather was beautiful. I'm glad it wasn't crawling with people. I'll let the photos speak for themselves...

Bert made his mark with an "inukshuk", a First Nations rock formation or aboriginal markers used to indicate that food or shelter was nearby.

We saw a lot of these during our drive through Canada (from Toronto to Sudbury to be exact).

Although Bert go a few wierd stares for making this, he didn't care. I wonder how long his inukshuk lasted on the beach!
Previous visit to Moonlight Beach:
January 2014 with Superman
The afternoon was still young but with the crappy spectre of traffic on the way down in the back of our minds, we left after about an hour of relaxing in the shade of this huge cliff, and headed back up those steps...
We would have one more stop involving caffeinated drinks before making our trek down south...

Beautiful shots of the beach. Love Bert's inukchuk!
Thanks Cab!
So pretty! I've actually never been to the beach around here, though I don't go to this area that often. I hope Bert's inukchuk lasted for quite a while.
It is a nice beach. Very clean. Who knows how long it lasted, haha.
