Too bad the joy stick fire button was broken! We still have Mr. Drummer's Atari console but this was the 'new fangled' version...a Namco video game system.
One of our favorite animated series from Nick, "The Legend of Korra", which is a spinoff of "Avatar - the Last Airbender".

I watched "The Carrie Diaries" for the first time last week; this is the story of Carrie Bradshaw's pre- "Sex in the City" days. I wanted to see how "authentic" the 80's fashions were. The array of Girl Scout cookies Bert bought from the neighbor girl across the street. Yikes, cavity alert!

Tulips which were a gift from the ASB for Counselor's Week...

A cool cross covered in religiously themed bottlecaps, seen at a Mexican food stand at the San Diego Public Market.

About to pass under the Laurel Street Bridge (aka the Cabrillo Bridge), which connects Balboa Park with Uptown.

I never understood that character at all and ever since seeing this tire cover, have spotted other verions on cars throughout San Diego.

The school's ASB was giving out these "about to expire" Corn Nuts! Look at all the flavors they have now! These used to be a favorite snack back in junior high and high school!

Man, whatever happened to Peanuttles? What I would give to have some of those right now!
It was a nice four day hiatus but it's back to work for the next month and half, then it's Spring Break!!!
