he wanted Pizza...
So here we were, with TC with us so we could enjoy dinner at Tribute Pizza where we also celebrated our recent wedding anniversary (post linked at end).
Below, our drinks - Bert's ambert from 32nd St. Brewing Company and TC's new favorite drink, the prickly pear lemonade.
I was originally going to stick with water, but TC and I saw one of the waitresses walk this vivid purple drink over to another table. I just had to ask what it was and ended up ordering it. The drink wasn't on their menu yet, but it was called Saguaro cooler and had pineapple and orange juice in it as well as butterfly pea powder, which gives it the purple hue. The drink was really refreshing, but also too much to drink in one sitting.
I really loved the look of this!
Tribute's version of the Caesar salad (it had a much longer name but I'm too lazy to quote the menu verbatim)...Just know that it was pretty damn good.
We also shared the fried potatoes once again. Instead of a lemon aioli, it had a tinge of spicy chili flavor.
Bert chose a prosciutto pizza topped with arugula. The sauce was white garlic. We love how crisp yet chewy their crust is. The bitter arugula was the perfect foil to the savory and salty prosciutto.
Bert ended up having two of the same drink. Thank goodness TC drove home that night (I hate driving when it's dark. I can use the excuse of being old and having weak eyes now, ha ha).
