we were only recently able to do her birthday crawl earlier today...
I know I've been behind in my posts but such is life. Work is work and when I get home, I don't even want to look at a computer or a TV for that matter.
Fall break is coming up with plans to meet friends pretty much every day and explore new places. But also, it will be a time to get caught up little by little.
So,our first stop of the morning was at Herb & Eatery which Bert and I visited earlier this year during our trolley adventure on MLK day. We get here around 8:30's and found a nearby lot. Everything for today's crawl would be here, in Little Italy.

The Educator GF's all got house coffee, D (the birthday gal), KD and TORC. I was holding out for coffee later at a new place. Here were the pastries we shared, the mixed berry and two of their flaky and buttery croissants (the best I've ever had).

We four shared three items - two are repeats (Maple croissant + Thai croissant) and one was new, the Egg McPuffin (house made English muffin with fried over easy egg, white cheddar, yuzu aioli, sausage & arugula) and a side of fruit.

They really like using arugula here.

Of the sandwiches, I liked the chicken sausage in the Thai croissant the best. Wasn't a fan of the over easy egg, but friends liked it more so that's all good. Everyone liked the berry pastry and croissants as well. OMG...all this butter, ha ha!
