we were able to mutually meet up this weekend...
where we waited a tad bit for a table to open up at Little Lion Cafe in OB, one of my favorite spots for breakfast/brunch. I really miss working with MFH and envy that she is already retired and enjoying a non-school and work free life!
Our drinks - French lemonade for her and iced coffee with cream for me. I like the glass my coffee was served in. Had a nice feel in my hand and look, they used an environmentally friendly disposable paper straw!

My BLT on ciabatta served with housemade pickles. The bacon in this was thick cut and very tasty. I liked that avocado was also in the sandwich giving it much needed creaminess. I ended up eating half of the sandwich and not much of the bread. Bert enjoyed the other half later that day, ha ha.
Everything here is always so fresh, vibrant and appealing to the senses. I was so happy that MFH liked the venue; she plans to return with family and explore more of the dinner menu. The ladies here are always so nice. We arrived at 8:40 and were seated by 9 am. It was fun catching up with MFH during the wait outside...

Our time was limited this morning, but we had the opportunity to do one more stop (which I'll combine with other stops at this particular coffee joint)...
