It was still pretty early in the morning so downtown was pretty deserted...
The mural I wanted to see was not this, although the cool stained glass look was eye catching.
but instead, was this...in an alley on that same street.
The mural on this 1920's era building depicts historical events in San Pedro's history.
The artist is Moncho1929 (real name Don Monteavaro. The mural is located in the back of the fairly new Pappy's Restaurant which the owner hopes to revitalize this part of town.
It would have been cool to learn about what exactly was depicted via a placard or something, but none was to be found.
The artist's use of colors and geometric shapes was really vibrant.
