I made my way to this strip mall...
so I could make use of this here coupon.
I wanted to get something different than last time. With the coupon, I saved $7.25.
I took the sandwiches to go...
The Starvin' Marvin it was - meatloaf, cheese, lettuce and "special sauce" on sourdough.
I know this looks the same, but this is the Southwest Ranch - roast beef, melted jalapeno jack cheese, Ortega chili with spic mayo on sourdough. Both sandwiches came with a wrapped pickle spear.
There ya go...sliced roast beef goodness.
Enjoyed later at home with these shrimp chips from Louisiana.
Of the two sandwiches, I liked the Starvin' Marvin the best due to my meatloaf fascination. I wonder if they named the sandwich on their own or if it was a totally not-PC reference to the African character on "South Park".

Poor Bert didn't really get to taste the Starvin' Marvin. I ate most of it and only had a bite or two of the roast beef sandwich. This is a really nice but humble spot. The girl working the counter was friendly and there seemed to be a lot of "regulars" picking up their orders. They have more sandwich items on their menu that we want to try for future visits...
