Stick Station

We'd never really wandered around Old Town Pasadena before...

There are a lot of little alleyways (all named after historical buildings/people) that have restaurants and shops within....

One of these was a hipster (i.e. overpriced) ice cream place, much like the one in Anaheim's Packing District (never been but have seen umpteen photos of the fancy ice cream bars). You pick your flavor and have the choice to have additional toppings and drizzles on it. If you don't want an ice cream bar, you can get ice cream or gelato in a cup or cone;

This was a fake greenery bush in the shape of a popsicle.

Dark chocolate hazeul nut ice cream bar with chocolate drizzle and chopped almonds at the top.  The ice cream in a cup was pistachio. The green bar was TC's - green tea with chocolate drizzle and caramel crumbs.

The box looks like a popsicle coffin.

Map of the area.

The ice cream bars were about $4.75 each or maybe up to $5. This was nearly a year ago. I just remember thinking, holy $%#@, I can get a paleta at Oasis for $1.65 instead of this, ha ha!  That being said, the ice creams were good but it kind of sucked eating them because there was no place to sit inside so we sat outside at a bench that was near some sort of nightclub. There were a lot of people walking by in dubious outfits (especially the women). Plus it was cold at night  and I hates being cold.
