featuring his recent meetup with a former co-worker who recently relocated back to San Diego...
Since his friend works at Liberty Station, they both thought Stone would be a good place to have dinner and a few beers. The beer above was an amber beer (he forgot the name)...
Menu below...

Lamb kofta meatballs with pita bread - Bert felt it went well with their beers (his friend had the IPA, not pictured).

His friend's Red wine braised short rib served with caramelized fennel, spring onions and fingerling potatoes, with carrot puree and topped with micro cilantro. OMG, seriously. How pretentious sounding but yeah, I'd eat that. Bert just dictated the menu to me as I typed this.

Bert's Jambalaya which consisted of crawfish, Jidori chicken, and Andouille sausage...

He felt it was pretty filling since there were three meats in there. It didn't quite compare to the versions he's had in New Orleans but it was pretty good.
Previous visit to Stone Brewing Co.:
January 2014 (with Bert)
It was nice for those two to reconnect after not having seen each other for more than five years.
