My not so secret parking spot on India was taken so I had to pay for parking dagnabbit...

We weren't planning to stay long...
It was nice being out on a weekday early in the morning before it got too crazy.

We hadn't been here since the Spring and I was curious to try their version of a coffee soda.

As for TC, she wanted to try their strawberry soda...

The coffee soda was as good as I thought it would be. No whipped cream, just espresso and sparkling soda water. It was already sweetened (not sure if it was with simple syrup or what)...

Our drinks...

I'm sure I could recreate the strawberry soda drink easily at home and save $3.50 while I'm at it. Now if I only had a mini espresso machine...

If I did, I would be making this every damn day!
Previous visit to James Coffee:
March 2015 during our Trolley Crawl (which I still have to finish those posts!)
It wasn't quite the same as the Snowy Plover from Andytown Coffee in the Outer Sunset but it'll do!

I would totally try that strawberry shortcake latte. What! Coffee soda also sounds so so interesting. You have great coffee finds :)
I want to try the strawberry shortcake latte as well but with almond milk instead. The coffee soda is something you'd like, I can guarantee it! The vibe here is kind of uppity though which I'm not too keen on.
Love James Coffee - and the surrounding super hipster apparel stores. On weekends they have such a good old fashioned vanilla cake donut (with the tiniest hint of nutmeg)!
Hi JS! I'll have to try their other stuff next time. My husband had the pourover and I thought it smelled vile, so no pourover for me.
