(a postcard I picked up from Establish, a gift shop on Noriega St.)
Over on the corner of Noriega and 38th is Pollyann Ice Cream, the third incarnation of the neighborhood's beloved ice cream shop.

We hadn't been here since our 2011 trip. They had changed things up a tiny bit (repainted)...We wanted a little snack before heading back to the beach.

Their flavors, some of which rotate from their repertoire of 500. The 2nd photo is blurry, sorry but just squint and it should look normal. As you can see they have lots of interesting flavors, normal as well as exotic. I was excited to see Macapuno and Taro.

We chose not to spint the wheel for our flavors. TC learned the hard way last time, getting stuck with all of the coffee/alcohol flavors (which we gladly ended up eating for her).

This photo was taken more than a year ago so I'm going to have to guess a bit.

From left to right - my cup had two flavors, one of which was blueberry for sure (on the bottom); the other flavor might have been either lychee or coconut. The middle cup was TC's (surprise, surprise) rainbow sherbert. Lastly, Bert's cup held what was most likely a coffee flavored ice cream.

It was nice to do a revisit and enjoy the shop in the daytime. It was a pretty warm day and the ice cream kind of melted faster that I would have liked though. Good flavors!
Here's a fairly recent video, taken a few months before our visit last year. The sound quality sucks though but there are subtitled for part of the video. You can see the wheel "in action"!
Previous visit to Pollyann Ice Cream:
June 2011
It was now back to OB and then sandwiches at a local deli for dinner!
