Last weekend, I used my "free birthday burger" deal from Red Robin.

I haven't been here since last year...

Prior to this,we watched "The Wrath of the Titans" (the sequel to the equally bad "Clash of the Titans")at the same mall. OMG, talk about a complete and utter bore! I literally fell asleep during the movie. Thank goodness we used a free ticket and didn't actually pay for this abomination. Well, Bert and TC liked the movie, but I ended up taking a nap during the flick...
But on to our early dinner...we got two burgers and decided to split them.

I chose the Guacamole Bacon Burger while Bert chose the Prime Chophouse Burger.

Our appetizer was their famous "Tower of Onion Rings" - 13 to be exact which was fitting since that is my birthdate and my lucky number.

Served with their house sauce and ranch. I preferred ketchup. Liked the crunchy crumb breading!

Our burgers were split. We chose side salads with both of our burgers. This was the guac/bacon burger.

and this was the Prime Chophouse burger which had fried onion strings, horseradish sauce and sauteed mushrooms. We shared the burgers between us three.

Here's both of them. I preferred Bert's to mine. I would have liked mine better if it was warmer. It seemed like it had been sitting out.

One thing I'll never do again is go to the mall on a weekend! It was a nightmare for someone as hermitlike as myself! Not sure if I'll go here again next year either...It's time for new birthday eats!

It's been ages since I've been to Red Robin. We used to go to the one in UTC and I loved their onion ring towers and strawberry lemonade. The Mister always orders the blue cheese burger (you're favorite! just kidding) and I like the bacon-guac burger. Hmm, maybe I'll go back just to get the rings and lemonade!
hi c - ugh, bleu cheese!!!! = barf! sorry!
I'll only go to Red Robin if we have a coupon or a deal or something. I don't think it's really worth it otherwise. The onion rings don't look bad though.
hi mary - that's THE only reason i went. coupon or bday deal.
