Cookies made by Child Labor

Last week I wanted to "warm myself" up for the holiday baking season.

I know the bowl's contents don't really look that appetizing, but hey! There are only four ingredients!

And here they are: Peanut Butter, Nutella, Flour (in the jar), and one egg!

These are Kirbie's "Four Ingredient Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies" that we made a few nights ago. Four ingredients, how can you go wrong? I like that there's no added sugar. In fact, one of my co-workers said he really liked the cookie because it wasn't too sweet.

Here are the proportions: 1/2 cup PB, 1/2 cup Nutella and 1 Cup of Flour. Mix it in one bowl. Roll into balls. Here's TC making her batch. She enjoyed pressing it with a fork! She did all the measuring of the ingredients and most of the mixing. She enjoys getting her hands dirty!

This was my batch. My cookies were thinner and flatter. They also crumbled more easily than TC's. Hers were very nicely shaped! The cookies were a hit, so thanks Kirbie for the easy recipe!

We also made Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies (also from Kirbie's blog)

I'm feelin' kinda lazy to post the recipe but if you click on the link to Kirbie's, you can enjoy much btter photos! I've made these before; see my "Baking Marathon" post from last year. I think last year's batches came out better.

The cookies spread out too much and you couldn't see the chips at the top. I might have made them too big. Bert and TC still enjoyed them!

Ha ha, you can see my plastic "meat" cutting board underneath the cookie rack. I hardly use it since I don't cook a lot of red meat. The cutting board made a good crumb catcher!

These recipes were a test batch...I will definitely try making more of these once I'm on vacation!

Haha, loved the title. The cookies look great! I find my chess games sharper when I have some sugar in my system. :)
