The kids left on their charter bus at 3 pm. A few of us parents needed a little something for the road...
And yes, this is the name of this food stand...

Their menu...

The guy working there was pretty laid back and cool. He told us he had the cart for five months but it was his first week at this particular street corner.

It's right across the street from the Museum of Tolerance, on the corner of Pico and Roxbury (you can see the building)...
I had the Hawaiian dog with jalapenos, tomatoes, onions (the menu said crispy, but these were not even fried crispy), Sriracha sauce and mustard (I should have asked him to hold the mustard). I didn't read his menu sign correctly because when I saw Hawaiian, I immediately assumed it would have pineapple on it. Wrong. It's Hawaiian because it used a Hawaiian bun!

I thought it was pretty good but there was too much bun to the meat. I also thought the "wiener" was too small! Ha ha. That's what I said...

Bert got the Beef Hot Link with natural casing. He had his with everything, including a pickle spear.

I liked Bert's dog more than mine. His link had good flavor and it had a nice snap to it.

One of the other moms had a regular hot dog with tomatoes...

Robsessed also got a regular dog with ketchup, mustard, relish, and onions...

Lastly, Robessed's husband's dog. It looks almost like hers but he got the Kosher Beef.

We ended up eating our dogs at the stand. There were a few stools provided. We spent about 25 minutes there before finally leaving and braving the crappy L.A. traffic back down to S.D. It was 3:30 p.m. We ended up getting back to the school at 7:15 at night!!!

Most skinless dogs are shorter in length than typical dog buns sold. Why? I don't know.
