I came back but this time with the gal pals...
The owner wasn't there that day. Instead, it was another barista who was super nice and made sure our drinks were on point. It was still early in the morning and not crowded. Shortly after we sat down, the place had a line out the door! This is remarkable since it was a weekend and this coffee shop is hidden in the back of an business park. It's not like people walk by here off the street.

Painting by MaryJhun hanging near the apothecary's space within the coffee shop.

She's one of my favorite local artists.
D's house coffee (Guatemalan I believe):

The birthday girl's toasted hazelnut vanilla latte:

Looks like a cortado, but this was a flat white.

The gals really liked the flat white!
As if I didn't have enough caffeine, this was my fourth coffee that day. The return of the caramel black sea salt latte. Not too sweet either which is nice. I was asked both times I was here what level of sweetness (or not) I wanted.

I liked that he made this look so pretty with the espresso powder.

Excellent drinks. Glad Mira Mesa has a good coffee shop, now if we can only have one down south in Chula Vista.
Previous visit to Jaunt Coffee Roasters:
September 2018
As per usual, we stopped to do some window shopping at nearby UTC and made a quick stop at TORC's parents house in Mira Mesa before heading over for a late lunch in Golden Hill. That post, coming up next.
