We had just gone to a local comic book shop and thought we'd stop at this burger place for lunch...
We've seen it in the past whenever we'd go to Pho Duyen Mai a few doors down. We were curious about this burger place, especially in an area that has a plethora of Asian eateries.
Is it just me or does the lack of an apostrophe in "Annys" bug you??? Also, it is Burger singular as their website indicates or plural as seen on their signage and menu?
They have a big selection of burgers and nothing over $9 at the very top of the price point.

Our lunch that day...

Bert's Texas burger which had a lot of crap in it - cheese, bacon, canned jalapenos and bbq sauce.

I had the mushroom burger with cheese. The fries, we shared.

View of the innards - the beef was juicy (cooked medium). I ate most of my burger and skipped out on the bun for the second half. I really liked my grilled mushrooms with onions and gooey cheese.

Bert's burger, on the other hand was very messy. The grilled onions were very thin and would come out with each bite. His burger had a lot of sauce but the overabundance of the fillings made this not pleasant to pick up and bite into. He did like it and felt it was quite flavorful.

Who else went to Anny's Fine Burgers?
Here is a post from Kirk back in March 2012, along with Lynn of Oh So Yummy who went one month later, while Cathy has been to the Santee location during here February 2011 visit

Not sure if we'd revisit. The service was okay. We sat in the side room rather than the main dining area, which was noisier.
