TC made me this card...

which was written entirely in Filipino...

All of the students in the third year Filipino language class made cards for their mothers. They had to answer a prompt, "Why is it important to celebrate mother's day" (there were several but that is the one she chose to answer.

Update:
Front of card:  "Happy Mother's Day"

Inside says left: "Thank you for everything, I love you"

Inside right: "My dear mom,
It's important to celebrate mother's day because it shows thanks to your mom. I'm thankful for my mom. My mom is my teacher and role model. Mothers are important to their children and my mom works hard for her job and family."

In addition to the card, I woke up to waffles made from scratch...

We had no regular milk of any kind so Bert used almond milk.

Jams and syrups galore...

Plus my artfully sliced bananas...not.

What a great breakfast thanks to Bert and TC!
