containing caffeine...Of course, diligent readers already know (or have a 50/50 chance of guessing) what I ordered because I'm predictable like that...
Only Bert and I got drinks this time. TC wanted to get a drink over in Normal Heights so she was saving her thirst for that visit, although their flavored lemonades did look tempting. The lady working here was super nice. There were a few customers remarking that it was their first visit here and to San Diego and how much they loved the gardens.

My blended mocha with whipped cream (I forgot to ask for it without, dagnabbit). Although it wasn't as blended as well as I would have liked (containing a few icy chunks), it was still refreshing...

Bert's Peppermint Mocha, which I kind of liked better than mine!

I really like that there is a coffee stand at the nursery as well as a place where you can enjoy lunch as well as dinner. Judging from Nate's Garden Grill's facebook page, they also feature live performers on certain days of the week, which is cool if you enjoy watching local talent.

Our next stop would be Normal Heights. No malls, just mom and pop stores. Then dessert....
