which are on top of the TV in our media cabinet...
There are twenty one in all, including a new Elf Pez (not shown)...
Also in our red basket of Christmas books are these which feature popular childrens' book characters.
The Simpsons book is a word for word transcript of the Simpson Christmas special. I remember buying the book for a whopping $1 at a discount store. In fact, I bought about 10 of them and gave them out as gifts in 1990. That is the oldest Christmas book in the pile.
One of TC's favorites included Arthur, an aardvark, Clifford the Big Red Dog (the author Norman Bridwell died a few days ago, sadly), and Madeline, the little French girl.
When looking up the books online, I found that some people actual read the books on YouTube. Interesting.
Although I tried to raise TC as Disney free as possible when she was young, she was still given this book ( y whom, I don't recall). We also have the VHS for this (also a gift)...
I'm glad that we kept her childhood books. They only get brought out during the holidays and they always seem to attract attention whenever we have friends with kids visiting. They seem to enjoy looking through the picture books.
