We headed straight over to the Ferry Building which was just starting out the day sans the crowds...

Then walked it from Pier 1...
all the way up to Pier 39...
Later we drove up Fort Point...
for an up close and personal (and best of all FREE) iconic view of the Golden Gate Bridge...
