Over in Berkeley, we were in search of a Portuguese tart at a neighboring tea place, but wandered into this artisanal chocolate shop instead...
which was also a few steps away from one of my favorite bookstores in Berkeley, Eastwind Books...
Coffee was enjoyed at two different places, right next to each other. This was where I had my iced coffee...
while Bert had this interesting version of iced coffee next door.
Snacks were enjoyed at the Pacific East Mall...
While dinner was spent with our good friends at a local Japanese/Russian/Mongolian place...
Hey, I thought that Chingiss was Genghis's brother...just kidding. Chingiss sounds pretty close to "chingado" , haha (ask your Mexican friends what THAT means)...
