Pasta dinner

So, after such a long day, we headed back to our hotel suite where I made dinner for us...

That's TC playing with the pasta...

The ingredients were courtesy of Trader Joe's and Wal-Mart.

I made angel hair pasta with super chunky mushroom sauce with chicken meatballs, along with a side salad. We also used some of the leftover Tillamook white garlic cheese on top of the pasta.

Oh yeah, nice and gooey!  It was nice not having to go out again. Plus, we got to watch some of the dvd's we brought along.

Below, another look at the desserts we bought that day. A few choquettes, plus an almond croissant and chocolate pastry from St. Honore.

From Pix Patisserie, the macarons (once again) and the Pixie bar..

Most of these macarons were eaten that same evening and some of that Pixie bar. My favorite was the fleur de sel Caramel far left). The choquettes and other French pastries would be enjoyed the next day for breakfast. Humminah....drool.

Day 5 can be read in this order:

Pacific Hazelnut Candy Factory
Burgerville on SE 25th
D Street Noshery - PDX 671, Fuego de Lotus and Bailey's

plus this post...

Oregon posts will continue as long as my brain isn't too fried from all this posting!
