Even though Bert was "curious" about this place, the Devils Point Strip Club was NOT our destination...

No, this lovely establishment happened to be right next to a burger joint highly recommended by KDB...
Foster Burger was also steps away from the Carts on Foster food pod as well as the Vietnamese bakery, An Xuyen (literally right behind it)...

Voodoo and Acme donuts, pizza and now this! Even though we went to two donut places, it's not like we polished off everything!
Coincidentally, we saw KDB there with one of his room mates!

I read that they make a mean poutine here, but we wanted to save our poutine experience for Canada (and boy was it worth the wait). Instead, we just went with a couple of their Mini Foster Burgers...

along with a side of their faous Black & White fries, also recommended by KDB.

I loved the ambiance of this place. Dim inside, except for the front eating area. Great music playing on the system and tons and tons of concert posters! I spy Pink Martini (a group local to Oregon). Not pictured were posterbills of Echo and the Bunnymen, The Church, Timbuk 3, Adam Ant, and even The Butthole Surfers (TC thought that was a gross band name; I agree). There was even a poster from a band called, uh, The Sweaty Nipples. Yeesh. And someone called this place "family friendly"? Well, as long as your toddler can't read! But my 11 year old could!

Here were the lovely Black & White fries dusted with parmesan cheese. I wasn't too crazy about the truffle oil flavor. It tasted kind of musty and shall I say, "dirty" to me? The housemade squid ink aioli was on the side...

Here are the fries WITH the lovely black aioli, which we enjoyed. Save for the truffle odor, these fries were pretty tasty. I have no hangups with squid ink but it leave stains. Be careful when eating this if you're ever here.

As for the burgers, we ordered two of the Mini's. This is one of them. The mini's are a 1/4 lb. while the regular is a 1/2 lb. These looked pretty big to us. TC really enjoyed hers. Bert and I shared one...I liked how the condiments and fixings were separate. The brioche bun was nicely toasted. The meat was perfectly cooked medium and very juicy.

We had a cool time chatting with KDB and his roommate. I ended up having a discussion with the roommate about heavy metal bands as well as the Irons Maidens.

Here are some other reviews of Foster Burger:

and the mostly positive yelp reviews.
Our day was nearly coming to an end, but it wasn't over just yet! We wanted to make a quick stop at one of the downtown food pods. I wanted to "czech" out a particular food cart...

I take it that this type of strip club doesn't refer to steaks, right? ;o)
Haha, and coincidentally, there is a firestripper with the name of "Miss Steak", also recommended by KDB!
Fire!!! Fire!!!
