Morrissey! Is there a Smiths Boulevard?
My Ninong and Ninang wanted to take us out to dinner. Although I was still kind of full from the sandwiches she made us earlier, how could we say no? Below is the Moss Landing Power Plant, located at the midpoint of Monterey Bay.

Wow! Look at the price for those avocados (5 for $1) and artichokes (10 for $1)!

We finally arrived at our destination, The Whole Enchilada, a Mexican restaurant with a harbor view. Judging from these signs int he back, WTF kind of place was this? Pole dancing contest? Hooker's Ball? Wet T-Shirt Contests?

Turns out that was for the Moss Landing Inn, not the restaurant! Thank goodness!

My godparents hadn't been here in awhile so they were killing two birds with one stone. Plus, my Ninang wanted a margarita!

Their menu...

Chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't good at all. It tasted thick and ketchupy like it came from a can or something.

Bert's beer. Stay thirsty my friends.

My Ninang's humongous Margarita (which I helped her finish, ha ha).

We shared some fried artichoke hearts that came with creamy (and spicy) ranch/jalapeno dressing. Very tasty!

TC's Ribs with Fries.

My Ninong's Carnitas plate (with rice, beans, and tortillas).

MyNinang had steak fajitas (with rice, beans and tortillas).

This was my plate (I couldn't find it on their online menu). I believe these were five grilled shrimp over rice and lobster based cream sauce. I forgot what that fried thing in the middle was but I liked that it was topped with guacamole. I basically ate the shrimp and guacamole.

Bert's combo plate. He doesn't remember what he ate either but it looks like it was some sort of enchilada plate with rice, chips, beans, and salsa.

The service here was really good. The waiters were so attentive. One older man came out (I believe he might have been the owner) and gave TC a pair of star-shaped sunglasses (cheap ones but it was the thought that counts, right). Shades of Bootsy Collins!
They had artichokes growing out front.

Who else ate at the Whole Enchilada?
Central Coast blogger Melissa Good Taste went here back in 2008.
This was our last night in Pebble Beach. We would head down the coast the next morning...
