A few months have passed since K-Pasta closed down...

However, the same owners have replaced it with a different concept, the Little Red Cafe...
The building is still the same, just the name and signage is different.

Bert ordered for us (breakfast sandwich and a mango bowl) plus our drinks...

Like our last time here, we sat in the back patio...
Bert' caramel latte with almond milk:

This was my orange blossom oolong tea latte with coconut milk. I normally don't get hot drinks but thought I might like this. Sadly, I did not. Milk in tea doesn't taste that great to me but I wanted to try this combination. Looks nice though!

Our breakfast sandwiches - Bert's rye with bacon, eggs, and cheese and my BLT. Both were served with a side of fruit.

TC's mango smoothie bowl - this was like an acai bowl but with mango and tajin and chamoy. The chopped items were jicama and cucumber topped with coconut flakes and granola. This was a combination of sweet, salty, sour, crunchy, cold and smooth. She really enjoyed this: I thought it was pretty good as well.

I'm glad that the owners are back with this new eatery. It's nice to have healthy choices and also coffee drinks in this part of town, although the upcoming and nearby Trident Coffee at Bikeway Village will hopefully be opening soon (along with Coronado Brewing Company).
