He left an amazing body of work...
Here's a news clip from today:
Plus a few of his memorable roles:
I would have to agree that one of his greatest earlier roles was the spiky haired punk in the first "Terminator" movie (1984).
"Nice night for a walk."
He was hilarious as the mean brother Chet in John Hughes' 80's nerd fantasy teen flick "Wierd Science" (the first movie Bert and I watched on VHS together; in retrospect, that movie was horribly sexist and un-PC). Chet was such a DICK in this movie!
"For Christ's sake, will you cover yourself!"
Later in the movie, he is changed into a Jabba the Hutt looking creature by the fantasy woman in "Weird Science":

The list goes on -Aliens, Apollo 13, Titanic, Twister, True Lies and even Spy Kids 2. Too many movies to name.
He was a great actor whose film legacy will live on.

I was so sad to hear about Bill Paxton! He's been in so many great roles over the years. For some reason I never realized that was him in Terminator. That movie scared me when I was little.
He was such a good actor! I liked him in his serious roles but I will remeber him fondly as Chet.
Yeah, the original Terminator was a bit of a depressing movie but it is one of my favorites.
