Like the VPAM, admission is free which is always a plus for me...
The art gallery is located in downtown Alhambra, amidst a variety of shops, businesses and restaurants.
Those stuffed dog toys were so cute! They had the cutest merchandise in here.

These Tokidoki Mermicorno and Donuts blind boxes were so cute! I wants. But don't needs.
The main floor showcased two amazing artists, Nico Delorte and Teagan White.
Nico Delort is a French Canadian illustrator whose striking blackand white pieces are all on scratchboard. It was amazing seeing all of the detail in his artwork.
Teagan White is a free lance illustrator who specializes in drawing woodland animals as well as flowers. She had an interesting style as well, using an autumnal color palette.
Up the stairs was another exhibit, "Hug it Out" which was quite ready yet. The artist was still setting up the room so we looked at the framed exhibit cards on the walls by the staircase.
I wished we could have seen the art of "Paranorman" or "The Goonies tribute art" exhibits.
The "Sandman" exhibit would have been really cool to see but that was back in 2009.
A few doors away from Nucleus, in the entryway, a remnant of a store now long gone.
Across the street, a Streamline Moderne building which is now a handbag store.
I searched online and found this older photo circa 1986 when that very building was a Woolworth's department store.

According to the user, who took the picture, the building was erected in 1947. The Woolworth's closed later that year after he took the photo.

July 2011 when we saw the Harry Potter tribute art exhibit which was RAD!
We were pretty tired at this point (we're old, ha ha) and wanted to head back to the motel to rest up before dinner...
