Salads from Lemonade at the MoCA, LA

We had a few places in mind for lunch but out of sheer convenience...

went to the Lemonade at the MoCA...

The eatery itself is pretty small...

serving only salads and a few protein choices as well as desserts.

We chose five different salads to share and as tempting as the dessert case looked, skipped out on those.

Edamame and snap peas + Shredded beef and fingerling potatoes for our plate. For TC, Chili roasted butternut squash, curried cauliflower, and soba noodle salad with peanut sauce.

All of the salads were delicious and was probably the healthiest thing we ate all day.

I loved the freshness of the snap peas with edamame while Bert liked the heartier potato and beef salad (not enough beef in his opinion, ha ha). TC liked the curried cauliflower the best. She had some really good choices here.

Who else went to this location of Lemonade?
Malcolm Johnson of the blog, "Is it any good?" did an informative write up in 2013 (Despite his name, the dude is of Asian descent because in a previous blog post, he mentions his grandparents as being Chinese).

OMG, I just checked this guy's blog and under his Place to Eat tab, he lists the different Asian cuisines. Filipino is spelled as "Philippino". WTFucking FUCK man! Really???? When I looked at a blog post on a Filipino place, it was actually spelled correctly, but OMG. Duh! But wait, he reviewed Max's of Manila but spelled it as "Manilla" even though he has a photo of the place with the title of the restaurant, spelled correctly of course.    ((muffled scream of frustration)).

Lunch Part 2 would be in the outskirts of Chinatown at a place well loved by the locals...
