This post will just focus on drinks...
I had gone to JETS last summer and saw that they had a coupon on their website. Although there was no stated expiration date, only the words, "limited time only", the woman manning the coffee stand told Bert that she would honor the coupon. During this visit, we had just walked Rohr Park with TC and her cousin, Nephew #3 and wanted to get some cool drinks for them and coffee for us. The stand is in a small strip mall with the 2nd Lolita's and across the street from the Vons shopping center at the bottom of Otay Lakes Road and Bonita Road.

The lady was kind enough to honor both coupons in one visit, so we got a really good deal here. Bert had a snickers bar mocha while I had the mint mocha. Both kids got smoothies which involved bananas, pineapple and mango. They were different but looked the same to me.

This was the view of the coffee stand from Cotija's taco shop across the street where we went immediately after getting our drinks.

Sometime during the break, TC and I visited 85C; while I got our pastries, TC did the dirty work of getting our drinks - a milk tea with the dreaded boba for her and sea salt coffee for me. This time, I shook it up before poking the straw in.

A recent lunch with Carol at Homestyle Hawaiian took us to Up2You Cafe where I had an affogato with coffee ice cream. I would be wired later that afternoon.

TC and I also went to Lion Coffee downtown to make use of a coupon that I had.

We had some sort of berry smoothie while I had a blended mocha. I'm so predictable, but I know what I like.

Lastly, while waiting for TC and her friend to get out of the movies (they were watching the new "Annie") at the mall, excuse me, town center, I went over to Melt for an iced coffee. I hadn't been here in awhile and was happy to have some "alone time" while the girls had their fun.

Of the places I went to for this post, I liked the mint mocha for JETS the best. The coffee from Up2You was kind of weak, while the sea salt coffee and iced mochas were both enjoyable.

Maybe I should be a little more wild and reckless next time at these places and get a non-frou frou drink, but yeah, most likely not, haha.

I'm boring at certain places that I revisit too. Like I loved the iced milk coffee at Cali Baguette, I need to ask for it with less ice though. I always feel a little jipped. I like 85c's sea salt coffee but MAN there's so much cream in those suckers.
At some Vietnamese places, I've asked them to not put a lot of condensed milk. I wonder I can ask them to not put as much cream in the sea salt coff at 85c. You're right, it's way too much. Bert can't enjoy it because he's lactose intolerant and they don't make it with soy, wtf man.
