With all of us in tow (D, who was driving, KD, TORC and myself), we piled into D's car and headed up to the OC for our first stop...
None of us had eaten breakfast that morning and by 9:40 am, we were about ready to eat anything. Our first stop of the day was Cream Pan in Tustin...

I'd been there several times before but I wanted them to experience the sweet wonder known as their strawberry croissant.
Last time we were here, it was Valentine's weekend and there was a line out the door. There was also a long line this time but it seemed to move pretty fast.

I staked out a table outside while they enjoyed the sights and smells inside.

Around the corner were two larger tables which was a better fit for our breakfast (and future snacks)...

D's ham and cheese croissant:

My Hot Dog bread. Keep yer nasty thoughts to yerself, heh.

We all shared these strawberry and cream filled croissants...OMG, so good!

Also shared was a banana strawberry pastry and for one of the other gals to take home later, an extra strawberry croissant.

Of course, I had to have a bit of this Cinnamon Pecan roll...

which we picked at....I love how chockfull it is of pecans!

This would be saved for Bert and TC, the Blueberry Croissant:

An almond brioche, chosen by D that we also shared...

These sweet and savory pastries were a perfect start to what would end up being a 14 hour out and about in beautiful Southern California...
Previous visit to Cream Pan:
November 2013
Up next - Our caffeine fix would be at a popular coffe joint just down the street and around the corner...
