EaThai Bistro revisit

I recently had lunch with a friend from the gym.

(fresh herbs grown outside EaThai Bistro)

She is half Thai and I wanted her to try my latest Thai restaurant crush....

I think it's safe to say that she really liked it here. Well enough to come back and bring her husband in the near future.  Here's 2/3 of our lunch that day - Thai sausage with a side of sticky rice plus her choice, chicken larb.

I can never resist these sausages. The only thing that needs improvement is replacing the pickled ginger (isn't that Japanese?) with real fresh sliced ginger.

The chicken larb was delicious...the flavors bright and clean.

This is the third time I've tried Khao Kluk Kapi and it never gets old. My friend really liked this and wants to make this on her own, but she plans to caramelize chicken rather than pork and would omit the sausage (she is very health conscious unlike SOME, ha ha). Here it is presented with all ingredients separate...

and now, mixed.

Her husband (who is of Greek descene) really enjoyed our leftover, ha ha. He is familiar with Thai food, having traveled there to train and learn muai Thai boxing.  That sauce was pretty hot but my friend poured it all over the leftover rice when we boxed this up. Potent and fiery!

I swear next time I go here, I'll order something different!
