As mentioned earlier, we are hardly in this area, so we couldn't miss it...
We've been tot he Bird Rock location on Morena Blvd, but not this one in Bird Rock, until today.
The space next to it is an art gallery and it seems like coffee patrons can also sit at their tables. We sat on a sidewalk table for fresh air and also to dog watch.

Both were made quite well, as is expected.
The folks working here were really nice and friendly. The morning was still young. We took a walk around the block trying to find a "secret beach" that TC told us about...

After walking around and admiring the fancy homes here, we didn't quite make it to that secret beach (there are steps that lead down to it from one of the coastal streets). We still had another errand to do that morning so we cut our time short here with the thought to return again this summer...
