Happy Halloween!

(from "Beef 'n Bun Whistle Stop" 2015, post is forthcoming)
Alas, no carved pumpkins from us this year...
While on a recent foray into Tarjay (yes, that does rhyme), I saw these candy corn flavor abominations...

Whatever happened to the regular flavor??? Caramel Macchiato candy corn is just so....WRONG.
Only this time of the year do we see Count Chocula and Frankenberry products. Now it's more than just cereal...

Japanese stores have their Halloween candy out in full force, like at Tokyo Main and Central:

Even the church ladies selling donuts after mass got in on the action...

This was TC's but taken on my lap last weekend, ha ha...
There's lots of candy to be given out onight...

I already ate one package of the Swedish Fish...and the Mike and Ike (hangs head in shame)...
Let's celebrate by featuring some awesome horror movie deaths...
First up, Johnny Depp (Fresh from "21 Jump Street") meets his demise on "Nightmare on Elm Street" (the first one):
Of course, we cannot forget Kevin Bacon in "Friday the 13th"....
Although he's been "killed" many times, Michael Meyers always comes back:
The unintentionally hilarious death scene of Judd Crandall (aka "Herman Munster" by Gage the toddler in Stephen King's "Pet Sematary":
plus another funny death scene from zombie comedy, "Shaun of the Dead":
Lastly, even though this is not really a horror movie but a musical, here are ALL of the death scenes from Tim Burton's version of "Sweeney Todd (The Demon Barber of Fleet Street)"! Yeahhhhh! Let's do it for Johnny!!!
Alan "Snape" Rickman's death was pretty brutal!
Hope you all have a good one tonight whether you're doing candy distribution duty (like us) or out and about...

I like candy corn. Plain, normal, small bites of sugary goodness...I eat it by color, slowly and gradually...it is a treat. This Brachs stuff is blasphemy, as are the donut decorations.
I prefer regular candy corn but don't really eat it at all anymore. It's so sugary and I can't handle it so much. These other flavors are good but not in candy corn form.
The donut was creme filled, which TC enjoyed.
