The bittermelon was still alive which was a good thing since I normally have a black thumb...
I wasn't sure to expect since I'd never grown bittermelon before...
Eggplant flowers:
Red chard is looking good...
One of the few cucumber plants that kind of lived. We got about two cucumbers from this then, then the plant just gave up...
Harvesting some chard leaves...
Crushed eggshells at the bottoms...we also composted a lot of our vegetable and fruit scraps to add to the soil.
Tomatoes were growing quite well...
but not quite ready for picking yet.
The vegetables did really well over the summer and we were able to harvest so many vegetables. I had to give some away.
Now to post the awesome vegetables that we grew...
