It was RIGHT THERE across the street...
And hey, we would be walking off those calories afterwards, right? Right? Ha ha...
It was so festive inside and also quite bright, which was cool. The workers were super nice and offered samples of our choosing.

So many good flavors here!

Bert and I chose to get a flight - Ricotta toast with red berry and geranium jam, Super Moon (vanilla and marshmallow with violet), dark chocolate truffle (coconut based). Flight of 3 was $6.50

Yay for flights!

OF the three flavors, I liked the Supermoon the best. Surprisingly, the violet flavor gave this scoop a unique twist. It tasted like violet Lucky Charm marshmallow.
TC's cone - Watermelon on top and brown butter almond brittle. One cone with one split scoop was $5.50.

Refreshing and creamy!
Hallway with cow mural.

We enjoyed our scoops here and had a nice conversation with some folks who noticed Bert's SDSU shirt (even though he is a UCSD alum).
Plus more street art on Abbot Kinney Blvd...

Jesus on a van!

Random wall in the neighborhood:

and this nature inspired wall at a local shop. Lots to see here on the Blvd.

It had been a long day so far and it was time to head back to the hotel to relax. We planned to check out the Sawtelle area later that evening rather than Santa Monica itself.
