Portland Day 4: Coava Coffee, SE Portland

Coava is a roaster local to Portland...

This was one of their newer locations...

on SE Hawthorne

It's also right across from a funeral home, yikes.

The original Coava is in a different neighborhood and actually across the street from Kidd Toy Museum which we visited back in 2009; we were not able to fit in a return visit to Kidd's, sadly.

The barista working here was really knowledgeable and friendly.  The interior is spacious with lots of light.  Our drinks that late afternoon - Iced cold brew for me and a cappuccino for Bert.

Bert likes that the cappuccino doesn't have as much milk a a latte.  It's one of the few "milkier" drinks that I'll concede to having, but as you already know, I gravitate towards the smaller drinks (macchiato and cortado).

No coffee for TC!

Before heading back to our apartment, we wanted to check out some street art in the Alberta Arts District...
