like this visit to Imperial Grounds...
Lured in by their new drink, the "Sweetie",which was like their "Hot Chick" but pink and without coconut.

Macrame owl anyoe?
Our drinks:

TC's Hot Chick (which we first tried during our first visit last spring)

The Limited Edition "Sweetie" which was a pink vanilla mocha topped with a pink sugared marshmallow heart. and gold sprinkles.

Bert's Mexican Mocha....

Bacon cheddar scone - Kind of dry. Wished it had more savory bits in there.

TC's pesto and cheese on a bagel. This took awhile to get because the barista had to warm it up. We were halfway done with our drinks when this came out. Not a fan of bagels so I didn't really eat this.

Love this sign. Same as the one we spotted at Nomad at the end of last year. These signs wouldn't be necessary if we didn't have a xenophobic president.

"All are welcome here".
Previous visit to Imperial Grounds:
"Holiday drinks roundup - Starbucks, Dark Horse, Imperial Grounds + bathroom decor" December 2016
Of our drinks, I liked mine the best. The pink vanilla whip was housemade. The drink was sweet but not overly sweet like a Starbucks drink. It tasted as lovely as it looked. Note, if you want actual ceramic cups or mugs, you will need to specify that, otherwise, it will come in an ugly paper cup. Planning to do a revisit with a friend of mine during the summer. Hopefully we can catch the owner and see if we can check out their vintage store next store.
