TC had early morning practice and most of my friends were not on vacation yet...

So here I was at S3's One Year Anniversary Event...
where I noticed that they had a new sign! Compare to below, their first sign.

(photo from my first post on S3 back in June 2016)
There was a pop-up bakery onsite, @alfiesweets (on IG/website: www.sweetbyalfie.com) offering free cactus shaped cookies but also selling other assorted goodies.
Inside, the coffee bar was decorated with cute cactus pinatas.

Their summer drink menu. I'm going to have to try that Ursula's Revenge next time, which hopefully will be soon.

Drinks were free today. Since it was just me, I only got one drink, the Prickly Pear Lemonade. No coffee believe it or not.

The drink itself was such a lovely pink shade, dotted with chia seeds. The prickly pear flavor was pretty light and the lemonade not too tart, which I appreciated.

Free coffee tastings from Cafe Moto. I tried the Vanilla nut...it was too strong for me. I am not used to drinking watery coffee.

On my way out, I received my complimentary cookie (very thin, light and vanilla flavored)...

Trunk of the car shot.

A funny thing about this cup. My name was written on the other side and below it, an abbreviation for the drink, "PRICK".
Nice. Funny tho'!

Glad I stopped by!
Previous visit to S3 Coffee Bar:
April 2017
and my very first visit (for comparison):
June 2016
The family who own this coffee bar are so very nice. The gals working the counter are also quite friendly. I like that they've added many specialty drinks over the past year and am looking forward to trying some of their new summer drinks. Kirbie alerted me to their anniversary event because they were offering their Birthday Cake Latte, which I did not order (perhaps for a future visit); it would be interesting to see how it compares to the version I had at Home Cafe in San Francisco (I'm STILL working on my Spring 2017 road trip posts)...

I really love the pink color of this drink! I still need to visit sometime and I want to try the Ursula too.
It is quite pretty isn't it Kirbie. :)
The Ursula's Revenge looks pretty cool too. They posted the vid on their IG - pouring the lemon juice from the test tube so the drink change colors. The butterfly pea tea color changing powers is quite trendy now.
