After leaving Blackmarket Bakery, KD needed to drop something off at a local Fed Ex and in doing so, we traversed down Felton Street to get back to the freeway...
As we headed south, I saw this statue out of the corner of my eye and asked TORC if she could turn back to I could see it up close and personal.
Yes, my friends, this is a wooden carved statue of a Sasquatch...

Look for the jockey statue near the fence and just hiding behind that fence, a small dog statue.

You definitely can't MISS seeing this thing here. The apartment complex address is 4472. The nearest cross street is Monroe. You can even see the statue on googlemaps! I wonder what the backstory is on this? It's not too often you see a sculpture of this nature in a neighborhood.

I tried to make it quick because I was in the apartment complex driveway. The sun was also shining behind the statue which made for not so good photos.

If you're into quirky sights, it's a worth a quick look-see if you are ever in the area.
Meanwhile, look at sky!

I couldn't find any online articles or references about the Bigfoot statue (who made it, why is it there, wtf). I'll just consider this quirky yard art. Hopefully a reader might know of its origins.
