It was crowded as an MF in there! I literally couldn't move without bumping into someone into this labyrinthine nightmare! The entrance of the store had a cash register with a long ass line that snaked through the store. The first part had candies and souvenirs. As you walked in, there was a iron hearth with a small seating area. To the right of that was the cider which is what we came in here for. Bert stood in another long line to get our drinks while TC and I checked out the back part of the store...

In addition to cider, they sold all things Nuts and Honey and Jams/Jellies. Lots of local made products that I was tempted to buy but refrained from doing so. These were just some of the flavors of pecans they offered!

We had our drinks outside...

I had the cold raw apple cider while Bert and TC shared the hot apple cider. By this time, the whipped cream had been licked by TC and deflated somewhat. Cinnamon was also sprinkled on the hot cider.

Of the two, I liked the cold raw apple cider the best. If you hadn't guessed my drinks preferences, I don't like hot drinks at all (no tea, coffee, well unless it's from Happy Joy bakery, or whatnot). I loved how fresh it tasted. No added preservatives or sugar. It was naturally sweet. The hot cider had spices in it which I didn't like either. Both Bert and TC enjoyed the hot cider immensely. While we were out there, we took a sneak pek at our apple boysenberry crumb topped pie...

I could just eat that topping and be happy! Fk the filling! Crumb topping and crust for me please!

Speaking of pies, I thought about this scene:
Blast from the past! Heh heh. I know, that was pretty gross.
Well, by this time it was already past 1:30, so we were going to have a late lunch. We didn't want to eat in downtown Julian. Rather, there was this place I'd heard and read about that I wanted us to go to...
Up next, lunch at Jeremy's on the Hill...

1. LOL! That scene in American Pie with Jim putting his fingers in the pie kills me every time!
2. We make our own apple cider on our farm. Next time you guys are up (Haha! Notice I said NEXT TIME?!?), we'll make some!
3. You and I are soul sistas. I'll have your filling and you can have my crust. I'm not a crust/topping gal. I like the filling. LOL! We're the perfect pair.
