Wendy's

Yo' man. We are back from our mini roadtrip. Those posts will be up by the end of this week. I've got one more week of vacation, woo hoo!

As with earlier posts, TC and I have been going out to lunch everyday using coupons. This day we happened to use the one for Wendy's since it was near an area where I was doing a bunch of errands...

We were there a few days ago and utilized the "Free Junior Frosty" coupon (no photos, wut? heh!)/no purchase necessary.  Wendy's is one of those places I rarely eat at...Plus, remember the finger in the chili? I know it was planted but...

No chili for us today!

Just two combos for the price of one...

I had the Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich with a choice of a garden salad (dressing and croutons were packaged separately). I didn't want fries. The other choices were a baked potato or apple slices.

TC had the Wendy's Cheeseburger with a Caesar Salad. As you can see, no fries for her either.

I'm glad she likes eating salad.

I miss seeing the commercials with Dave.

When I hear the name Wendy, I think of:

Wendy O. Williams the mohawked frontwoman from 70's punk band, The Plasmatics. Got any black duct tape anyone?

Man, that chick was tough as nails! She used to smash TV's with a sledgehammer and ride motorcyles and cars really fast, then jump out at the last minute! Too bad she offed herself.

Wendy Darling, the friend of Peter Pan (and rival of Tinkerbell):

I didn't really know any girls named Wendy growing up but I always thought it was a cool name. Okay, maybe a couple of girls.

Today was also my mom's birthday so we bought some flowers, a card, and rushed off to make a noodle salad to bring to the house for dinner later...
