Palate cleanser...

Just a little wardrobe break in between the Toronto posts...

In continuing with the shoe and clothing posts, here's a new (but still dark) color I'm sporting, Navy Blue with Crisp White. Nautical colors but not nautical looking.

Yo man, I feel like Thurston Howell the III.

The top is the Navy blue "River Bends" tunic from Anthropologie. Well, shit, if THAT's a tunic, then damn, it would pretty much show everything. Maybe it would a tunic for someone that's 4'5' and size 0 (see product info here)!

It's more of a t-shirt than a tunic. It's made of soft jersey and has a snaky "s" with slight gatherings. The bottom hem is also asymmetrical which I liked because it gave it a bit of an "edge". I'm always looking for that "edge" in my clothes.

The white pants, of course, got screwed up the first day I wore them. It never fails. I spilled some of my soup on it. Fuckity fuck. That's why I rarely wear white. I had to frantically wet it down so the stain wouldn't set. Now I need to wash the damn thing and hopefully not have to bleach it.

Since I had the same pants in black, I ended up getting the same pants in grey and white (seen here). These are the Body Fit Skinny Belted pant by Calvin Klein and I got them at the outlet stores in San Ysidro. The pants were on sale for $49.50 (see product info here) and I really really like the fit. They are like a cigarette pant but the legs are not "tight tight" like the sprayed on skinny jean look. The skinny belt (covered in the photo) is also cool.  The hem also hits right at the ankle, so I can wear flats with these or in this case, my super high Charles David pewter wedges.

Ugh, only a few more days until summer break! Then it's t-shirts, shorts or jeans and flip flops time!
