Thane accompanied us to the Train Station (South Station). We had never ridden on a train before (as a family) so we were excited! The ride would take about 3 and 1/2 hours to get to Penn Station in New York City.
On the platform:

TC slept through half of the trip. We traveled through Connectictut and Rhode Island...
I forgot which state this was, but it was really interesting watching the scenery just whiz by!
This may have been Rhode Island. Looks like a small village or fishing town.
A Mexican restaurant? Yeah, but do they have Carne Asada Burritos?!!!

Yes, I took this photo while in the bathroom. I thought this was kind of funny. I'm sure this has happened before! Don't really want to picture it though!

We were waiting by a Starbucks for N to pick us up. Turned out she was downstairs. She met us after her work (she got off early at 2 pm) and we took the subway to her place in Astoria in the borough of Queens.
